Tender Braised Beef

Tender Braised Beef is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. This hearty and flavorful meal is made with tender cuts of beef that are slow-cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, then this recipe is for you!

To make Tender Braised Beef, you will need the following ingredients:

- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 1 cup of red wine
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

To start, preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear on all sides until browned. Remove the beef from the pot and set it aside.
In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened. Add the beef broth, red wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Return the beef to the pot and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the oven. Bake for 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender and falls apart easily with a fork.
Once the beef is done, remove it from the pot and set it aside. Strain the cooking liquid through a fine-mesh sieve and discard any solids. Return the liquid to the pot and simmer until it has thickened to your desired consistency.
To serve, slice the beef and spoon the sauce over the top. This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad.
Tender Braised Beef is a comforting and satisfying dish that is perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion. The beef is tender and juicy, and the sauce is rich and flavorful. This dish is sure to impress your guests and leave them wanting more!
