Looking for a healthier and more flavorful alternative to traditional beef burgers? Try our Swiss Cheese Stuffed Turkey Burgers with Sautéed Mushrooms! This dish is perfect for those who want to enjoy a juicy and satisfying burger without the guilt.

To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients:

- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns

To start, mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of 4 of the patties and cover them with the remaining patties, pressing the edges to seal.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through. Remove the burgers from the skillet and set them aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and sauté the mushrooms and onions until they are tender and golden brown. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun and top it with the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve.
These Swiss Cheese Stuffed Turkey Burgers with Sautéed Mushrooms are a perfect combination of juicy turkey, melted cheese, and savory mushrooms. They are a great option for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or a weekend barbecue with friends and family.
