- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup of green onions, sliced

To start, coat the sliced beef in cornstarch and set aside. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the green onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Add the beef back to the skillet and pour the sauce over the top. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Serve the Mongolian Beef with Rice over a bed of cooked rice.
This dish is a perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors, with a slightly spicy kick from the red pepper flakes. The beef is tender and juicy, while the vegetables add a nice crunch to the dish. The rice is fluffy and absorbs all of the delicious flavors from the sauce.
