Mushroom Gravy

Mushroom Gravy is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be served with a variety of dishes. This savory sauce is made with fresh mushrooms, onions, garlic, and a few other simple ingredients. It's easy to make and adds a rich, earthy flavor to any meal.

To make Mushroom Gravy, you will need the following ingredients:

- 1 pound of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of beef or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste

To start, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender and browned, about 10 minutes. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set them aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the flour to the skillet and stir until it is well combined with the onion and garlic mixture.
Slowly pour in the broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened.
Add the cooked mushrooms back into the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
