Traditional Shanghai Dumplings

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork

- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 package dumpling wrappers
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, shrimp, Napa cabbage, scallions, and ginger. Mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, cornstarch, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the pork and shrimp mixture and stir until well combined.
3. To assemble the dumplings, place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
4. Repeat with the remaining filling and wrappers until all the dumplings are assembled.
5. To cook the dumplings, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dumplings to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.
6. Serve the dumplings hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
