Ingredients:

- 2 lbs. pickling cucumbers
- 2 cups white vinegar

- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
- 2 bay leaves


Instructions:

1. Wash the cucumbers and cut them into spears. Set aside.
2. In a large pot, combine the vinegar, water, pickling salt, sugar, dill seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil and stir until the salt and sugar are dissolved.
3. Add the cucumber spears to the pot and bring back to a boil.
4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
6. Using tongs, transfer the cucumber spears to sterilized jars.
7. Pour the pickling liquid over the cucumbers, making sure to cover them completely.
8. Seal the jars and let them cool to room temperature.
9. Store the jars in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
