Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the chilled butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Add the egg yolk and ice water to the mixture and stir until the dough comes together. Form the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
