Samoa Bars

Samoa Bars are a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of chocolate, caramel, and coconut. These bars are perfect for any occasion and are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.

To make Samoa Bars, you will need the following ingredients per serving:

- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

To start, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter, and salt. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is crumbly. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8x8 inch baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
While the crust is baking, toast the shredded coconut in a dry skillet over medium heat until it is lightly browned. Set aside.
Once the crust is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Pour the caramel sauce over the crust and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the toasted coconut over the caramel sauce.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and melted. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the coconut layer.
Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into squares and serving. The Samoa Bars are a perfect combination of sweet and salty, with a crunchy crust, chewy caramel, and a chocolatey coconut topping.
