Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, sift together the ground hazelnuts, almond flour, and powdered sugar.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they are frothy. Add in the granulated sugar, cream of tartar, and salt, and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the egg whites into the dry ingredients until the mixture is smooth and shiny.
5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe 1-inch circles onto the prepared baking sheet.
6. Tap the baking sheet on the counter a few times to release any air bubbles, then let the macarons sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
7. Bake the macarons for 15-18 minutes, or until they are set and slightly golden.
8. While the macarons are baking, prepare the hazelnut praline buttercream. In a large bowl, beat the butter until it is light and fluffy. Add in the hazelnut praline paste, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, and beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
9. Once the macarons are done baking, let them cool completely on the baking sheet.
10. Once the macarons are cool, pipe the hazelnut praline buttercream onto half of the macarons, then sandwich them together with the remaining macarons.
