- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and oregano)
- 1 egg, beaten


Cooking Tips:

- Make sure the milk is warm, but not too hot. If the milk is too hot, it can kill the yeast.
- You can use fresh herbs instead of dried herbs if you have them on hand.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven to give them a nice shine.
Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Add the melted butter, warm milk, minced garlic, and dried herbs to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
7. Brush the beaten egg over the rolls and let them rise for another 15 minutes.
8. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown.
9. Brush the rolls with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
