Baklava Recipe: A Delicious and Nutty Dessert

Cooking Process:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped walnuts and pistachios.
3. Brush a 9x13 inch baking dish with melted butter.
4. Lay a sheet of phyllo pastry in the baking dish and brush it with melted butter.
5. Repeat this process with 7 more sheets of phyllo pastry.
6. Sprinkle half of the nut mixture over the phyllo pastry.
7. Layer 8 more sheets of phyllo pastry on top of the nut mixture, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
8. Sprinkle the remaining nut mixture over the phyllo pastry.
9. Layer the remaining sheets of phyllo pastry on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
10. Use a sharp knife to cut the baklava into pieces.
11. Bake the baklava for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
12. While the baklava is baking, make the syrup by combining the sugar, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a saucepan.
13. Bring the syrup to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
14. Simmer the syrup for 10 minutes, or until it thickens.
15. Pour the syrup over the hot baklava.
16. Let the baklava cool before serving.
