Moroccan-Inspired Lamb Chili is a hearty and flavorful dish that is perfect for a cozy night in. This dish is a fusion of Moroccan and American flavors, making it a unique and delicious meal that will satisfy your taste buds.
To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients per serving:
- 1/2 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup canned chickpeas
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste

To start, heat a large pot over medium-high heat and add the ground lamb. Cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Remove the lamb from the pot and set it aside.
In the same pot, add the onion, red and green bell peppers, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the canned tomatoes, chickpeas, chicken broth, tomato paste, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
Add the cooked lamb back into the pot and stir to combine. Bring the chili to a simmer and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the flavors have melded together and the chili has thickened slightly.
Serve the Moroccan-Inspired Lamb Chili hot, garnished with fresh cilantro. This dish is perfect for a cozy night in and will warm you up from the inside out.
