- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 potatoes, chopped

- 1/2 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1/2 cup red lentils, rinsed
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 6 cups water
Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, grated onion, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Knead the mixture until it becomes smooth and well combined.
2. Shape the meat mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
4. Add the chopped carrots and potatoes to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes.
