Jiaozi

Jiaozi, also known as Chinese dumplings, are a popular dish that originated in Northern China. - 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste


To make the dough, mix the flour and water in a bowl until a smooth dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes elastic. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

To assemble the Jiaozi, roll out the dough into thin circles and place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal.
