Chinese Baozi Recipe: A Delicious Steamed Bun

Ingredients (for 12 servings):
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, warm water, yeast, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
2. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork, chopped cabbage, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it with your palm. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into a circle.
5. Place a spoonful of the pork filling in the center of the dough circle. Gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal the filling inside.
6. Place the baozi on a piece of parchment paper and let them rest for 10 minutes.
7. Fill a steamer with water and bring it to a boil. Place the baozi in the steamer, leaving some space between each one. Steam for 15 minutes.
8. Serve the Chinese Baozi hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
