BBQ Pork Jiaozi Recipe: A Delicious Chinese Dumpling Delight

- 1 package of dumpling wrappers (about 50 pieces)
- 1/4 cup water


Cooking Tips:

- Make sure to finely chop the Napa cabbage and scallions to ensure that they mix well with the ground pork.
- Use a non-stick pan to cook the dumplings to prevent them from sticking to the bottom.
- To prevent the dumplings from drying out, cover them with a damp cloth while you are working on the rest of the batch.
Cooking Process:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, Napa cabbage, scallions, cilantro, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, pressing the edges together to seal the dumpling. Repeat until all the pork mixture is used up.
3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and swirl to coat the pan. Place the dumplings in the pan, flat side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
4. Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.
5. Serve the BBQ Pork Jiaozi hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
